Question on the Light2 Controller

Hi there,

I have the Profilux Plus II controller with one digital powerbar, and I'm thinking of getting the Light2 controller to control all my lighting. Can I plug my 250-watt metal halide ballasts into the Light2 controller, or do I need the high amp powerbar for these? If so, would I be able to plug the high amp powerbar into the Light2 controller, or does it need to be plugged directly into the wall socket? Any help will be greatly appreciated--you guys have been extremely helpful on this forum.

Hiya

yes you can plug them directly into the Light II providing you do not exceed the 13amp total load (15amp being the overload point)

Calculate total watts divded by 110Volt = total amps.

For extra security and if planning to use the Light II for more loads than yes utilise a High amp extension, as follows

Plug Light II into one wall socket.

Plug Grey switching line into a socket on the Light II

Plug Black supply line of High amp into seperate wall socket.
