Yes- zeo Mix need to be in water flow. For example like here:
Yes it would be great if this product contained more detailed info.
As the AF website/user guide lacks anything too useful I thought there might be something more detailed in the container but nothing.
According to whats in the container i should put 500g per 100l
I have 600l tank so according to that i should be using 3000g/3kg zeomix.
Now if i did that with zeovit i probably wouldn't have much of a tank left so is AF's zeomix a zeolite mix that doesn't hold the same HIGH dangers ?
I understand there's dangers of doing anything too fast but some clarity would be appreciated.
If i have a heavy stocked with fish 600l tank do you stand by the recommended amount of 3kg & as long as this doesn't crash my No3 or K i in theory shouldn't get rtn issues??
Atm it seems a lot of us just tag along with what Debora is using which i believe is about 100g/100l
In a reactor that doesn't contain GFO/Carbon what is recommended flow rate for zeomix?

You need to actually answer people's questions that they ask. I have read so many of your responses and you have yet to give a valuable response. It's always, have you read our guide that doesn't explain ****..... Seriously if you want to keep selling your products then please answer the questions that we ask.
And by the way your guide doesn't explain how to properly use you system. Take a note from KZ's guide. They explain exactly how to use their products.
To answer BB215's question. Most people I have seen, adjust the flow to where the phosminus tumbles slightly. That is if you are doing the stack method. I go by KZ's recommendation and have the flow set to 50 gph in a vertex rx1.5 reactor. Zeomix on the bottom and carbon on top of that. Not using phosminus at the moment.

Start off with 1/8 of the amount that the container states. I started at 25% of all the products and I think that it stripped my system too quickly. Having all kinds of issues after starting the AF program. Hope you have better luck then me.

Yes - you can use 100ml/100L (27 US gal) but for start I recommend to use 25ml/100L (27 US gal) - your system have to adapt to new media.
So for your tank you should put 150-200ml Zeo Mix - water flow by media should be between 300-500l/h

Thanks man - i've already started back 2 months ago on smaller amounts & built up weekly - sitting at 750g now but some is getting older - i really was just wanting to push the point that instructions for use of it is rather "thin"
Debora @ 100g/100l but i think she is very lightly stocked on the fish dept - i'm heavy stocked & trying to take some weight off my No3 production that i'm struggling with.

I think it is important for you to understand that there is no perfect world where every tank is going to be the same. My 120 gallon reef, which is full of acros and large ones, will process nutrients different than perhaps the same identical tank with frags. So yes, if you were to dose what I do in the reactor, using the same amounts, with a low fish load and frags, you may not see such a great response. I have been using AF for 8 months, there was little to no support when I started, I just figured it out by my own experience and my own observations. I have personally assisted so many users both on open forums and private, is that not good enough? I just got back from vacation, no internet access at all, sorry I could not be there to answer your questions, perhaps join the AF group page on FB for IMMEDIATE satisfaction. Otherwise, maybe go slow and watch how everything works, one product at a time, use observation and your learned experience with coral keeping to make your own assertions. Nothing is exact, and maybe this is why so many people struggle with Zeovit, even though they provide support on their own web page, they struggle with users as well. If you need to PM me, do so

I didn't mean for it to come out as you have taken it. I apologize for that. I was just trying to say that they should start a real guide on how to use their system. How much they recommend to start with for a given water volume, fish load and coral stocking size. Not just a product description on what each product is/does.
I just think that this would benefit those of us starting AF.

I agree, it does get frustrating, there is no real direction, and threads get over taken quickly on this page. That said, maybe we can all contribute to smooth things over and have direction. I can only wish more users took the time to read the guide, but as you have, you are still left with questions. For example, how to prepare medias for soaking, rinsing, or cleansing. This seems simple right, but not everyone has experience rinsing zeolites, or carbon. I will be working off to the side on some videos, I spoke with Debora about this, so hopefully this will make it much easier. Typically, if I do not respond, other than vacation, it is due to finding out the answer and best providing accurate information, as opposed to a guess. Gary is quite knowledgeable in areas that I am not, for example the chemistry side of things. AF is gaining traction and many are starting to use the products, that said, a stronger path of communication is imperative. Also, if you use FB, go to the user group page, many great users there to help as well. Cheers!
