This is the first anemone I have ordered online and have had several before, even had some bubble tips that lived 10 years. I recieved this guy yesterday, didnt look all that good in the bag and when I opened it, the bag smelled like dead shrimp. Hopefully he expelled what he ate last night and that was the source of the smell, but dont know about that. Here is a pic of what he looks like today. He isnt grounding himself with his foot very much and the stomach looks expelled or at least that is what I think. All in all he looks terrible to me and didnt expect him to looks this rough or I wouldnt have ordered. Hope this pic is good enough to get an idea of what he looks like, anyone else have bad issues when recieving one from online delivery and how long should I be able to know if this isnt going to get better and should remove him from the tank? Any help would be great, thanks very much.

I received one that looked like this from Thatpetplace. When I received the water was 64 degrees , foul water and smell. Needless to say it had not much of a chance to survive. I think the likelyhood of this guy making it are slim to none. Thatpetplace of course like all others do not garauntee nems. I told them I would expect the damn thing to come not at 64 degrees in the bag. It did not sit outside either and of course they just blew that off. Don't order from them I found out. Live Aquaria puts them to shame in sending livestock. Good luck but I fear you will be on here talking about your dead nem in another day or two.
