Question re. lead time for live rock shipment

After much browsing through websites and forums I think I've come to a decision...I'm going to go with the "Premium Marshall Island Rock" from your shop.

With a bit of luck I will be finished plumbing my tank this weekend. How much lead time do you need to ship 100 lbs of the rock? What would be your choice of shipping method to Massachusetts given that the temperatures are dropping? If air freight is the best choice can we aviod Logan Airport and choose TF Green in RI or Bradley in CT?

Thanks for your help.

Mike

We should have plenty of Marshall Island in stock. You might want to call a few days ahead of time to make sure that we do have cured rock at the time. We ship airport to airport w/ Southwest Airlines. It looks like they only fly to Hartford/Springfield, Providence, Manchester, and Albany airports near Massachusetts. If none of these work, we can always ship with UPS though the cost may be more. Let me know your zip code and I can get you a quote.

Looks like to ship with UPS, next day would cost $215, Next Day Saver(by end of day/ not noon) would cost $200, and 2nd day costs $150. Ground would take 3 days which would be pushing it, and costs $40. Airport to Airport is normally around $.50 per pound and you pay the airline directly.
