Question re Profilux capability

Is it possible to set up a sort of "light acclimation mode" with the Profilux's programmable logic? Here's what I'd like to be able to do (and think I could accomplish with some custom code on the Reef Angel platform):

Say I've introduced a new coral to the display tank, and want to slowly acclimate it to the usual full intensity of the display tank lighting. Can I set a variable in the code somehow to have the maximum light intensity capped at some percentage (say 60%), and have the cap increase over time (say by 3-5% per day) until the full intensity of light is restored? This would be easier than getting my arm wet slowly moving the new coral up from the bottom of the tank over time.

Even better, rather than a cap, would be a multiplier (of the same 60%), so that the lights follow the same intensity-over-time curve in a given day, just scaled downward.

Possible?

I would like this feature but can't quite figure out how to make it happen inside the programming. What I do is manually change my intensity in the light program 1x a week on all channels. This way I put the coral where I want them and then use the software to limit light %.

If there is a better way I would love to give it a try.

Can any of the GHL vendors chime in? I'm always reading about how these controllers will do anything you could need -- light acclimation seems to be a reasonable request to make of a controller. I'm fairly sure the Reef Angel could do it.
