I have a question regarding MH bulbs. Currently, I use a 150W clip MH, which shines directly over my haddoni anemone. I know that a haddoni anemone doesn't need as much light as a gigantea, but I can't seem to find a recommended range of light for a haddoni.
The current bulb, which also includes a blue spectrum, is on the whiter end of the spectrum. According to specs, it emits 2800 lx at one meter depth, which is probably more or less the distance between the anemone and the lamp and emits a total of 9000 lm.
I would like to switch to a bluer bulb, which would be much more attractive. The next bulb in my range of blue emits 1300 lx at one meter and emits a total of 2500 lm. Is this enough light?
(If you think I should post this in the lighting forum, please let me know.)
