Question regarding tangs

I have researched and get conflicting information from the web, online fish sellers, and the LFS about aquarium sizes for different species. Is there a guide that is the "bible" for minimum aquarium size for species?

If not, what species are acceptable for a 75 gallon tank? I know I am limited but would really like to know what my options are if any.

Thanks in advance

Thanks and I won't use that term any longer. Thanks for the link. I just wanted to be responsible and noticed a lot people getting into heated debates about tank size for tangs. I am not trying to avoid be criticized, I just want the best possible tank with the best, healthiest environment for the inhabitants.

Thanks for both pieces of information.

For a 75, you could probably do a kole or tomini tang. They are smaller ones that don't need as large of a tank.

IMO
The only tangs that would be suitable for a 75 gallon would be one of the bristletooth tangs. I have kept one in a 75 before and still felt like they needed much more space.

I'm going to keep harping on what a great fish the Tomini are. Lovely color, very active, great grazers...I wish more people would consider them.

tangs love to zip back and forth, I think main reason you will hear 125g a lot of times is because they are usually 6 feet long
