Question: When is Wayne the happiest?

Got tubes?
Building sand castles, of course!

Wayne and Joy asked us if we'd like to join them on a quick weekend trip to Pompano beach, to which Julie and I promptly replied "YES!" :)

Here are a few other pics.

This one just turned out cool. This was a bus going by. I think that "Downtown Disney" sign was just blinking. :)

Looks like ya'll had a great trip! The picture overlooking the houses and the canal is my favorite. If I ever move from Nashville it will be to the coast. Thanks for sharing your vacation with us!

Good pics Brandon, & really looks like a very relaxing weekend, glad you had a safe trip & thanks for sharing.

Dude, I don't know how much those houses are (I have no doubt unbelievably expensive), but I absolutely love the fact you can take your boat to the grocery store instead of your car. :D At the same time, storm surge is a scary thought.

I also meant to mention we were told about a reef only a few hundred feet off of the shore and Julie and Wayne got to check it out. Wayne got to twice. Lots of Atlantic Blue tangs. Wayne even saw a sea turtle at the reef! :) I saw some royal grammas on the beach in about 4ft. of water... :D I tried to snorkel and dive, but both times as soon as I put my face in the water I got unbelievably sea sick and didn't want to ralph into the regulator. :D

if you did ralph in your regulator Wayne would have definitely had to shared pics. If not the story...
Brandon, just think of all the fish you could have attracted and made such a great experience for everyone around! Take one for the team next time... :frog:

Those fishies would definitely love that ralph you would make..... eww That reminds me when my parrot tries to feed me with his ralph...... :eek1:

We just got back from a trip to virginia beach. My wifes family is from PA, so they are used to the jersey shore/northern beaches. But, I just dont get it. Freezing cold murky ocean water. Yay! =(

Give me southern florida any day.

Chuck- Look on the bright side, they are a lot less murky now than they were when I was a kid (thinking early 80's). You do hit on a really good point but I hate northern beaches for a better reason... the 80,000 people you need to share the beach with :) I want to have my own beach... that's relaxing.

Oh yeah, thats another thing. Luckily, we rented a house with a bunch of family, so the beach was really private. But 200 yards down the beach was crazy! We stayed in sandbridge beach, when I drove to VA beach (10 minutes away) on the 4th it looked like this:

Silly yanks!
