I have a 1 gallon dwarf seahorse tank, and i am in serious need of something to scavange extra food. I bought a boxer crab, and that was not a good idea becasue he ate all of my fry. So i was thinking maybe a small shrimp? or tiny hermit crabs? any help would be appriciated. thanks!

I'm pretty sure ghost shrimp would also eat the fry. The Red Shimp are fine, but they aren't very good at cleaning up. Small snails are your best bet I think.
We used small hermits for a while without problems then one day, out of the blue, I watched a hermit attack one of the dwarves so no more hermits for me.

Ghost shrimp aren't the best idea IMO. They do get big, and kinda mean IME.

and i dont think Ghost shrimp will last to long in SW.. BUT why not try nassariuss snails

There are slat water ghosts and fresh water ghosts can be converted to SW, but still not a good tankmate IMO.
