i was wondering on what type of foam to put under the tank on the stand?? please help

i bought mine in Home Depot...they have it in the insulation aisle.

they sell up to 8'x36" sheets depending on which place you go, but home depot does usually have them. I think 6x24 will run you around 10.00 or so.

I used foam core poster board, that is vinyl clad for outside signs from Michaels.

what is the reason for adding foam under a tank?....not trying to Hijack...

It compensates for imperfections in the surface of the stand that cause stress points that could lead to cracks or leaks.

Foam insulation works well it was just to thick for my application this time.
