Lance , thanks for the link . What I have looks more like the Golden algae , from the pic in the link . For water movement I have a Hammer Head pump , with OM 4 Way . Ted

Is this algea in your main tank or fuge? Then all you use for water movement is a return pump from the fuge?

It is in my main tank , and yes on the pump . The sequence hammer head is a large pump 5800 GPH . I have two 2" over flow tubes going into a 4" line to my sump , with a 2" line for a return , that goes into the OM 4 way .

So this 5800 GPH pump comes from a sump or fuge or on a closed loop? A pic would help.

It comes from a 110 gal sump .

Im not sure on your setup but your surface looks like it calm.And this algea doesnt like water movement. I would research your water movement setup more. A pic would really help though.

The surface is calm in the third pic , because the flow was coming out in a different area of the tank , when that pic was taken . I have 4 different outlets in the tank . The OM 4 way rotates the flow . Ted
