are joker palys & purple people eaters the same ?
i know those are two different names but they do look pretty much the same...
if not, whats the difference ?

Nope, they are different:
My lights seem to tweek the purple colors in my tank so the pictures don't show the true color. But you can see there is a difference in that PPEs have a bright green mouth and they grow verrrrry slow.
