Questionable salt

Had 5 gallon bucket of salt delivered yesterday. It been dragged quite a bit. The bottom was worn down to the point that you could see salt but it would not spill out. Return it? I'm afraid it could have wicked up something? I also want to use it as I need it to make my weekly wc. Am I over thinking it? Just discard the bottom inch of the bucket?

Probably overthinking it. Is the inner bag torn, or does it even have a bag? The one issue I would be concerned about is if the bag is torn or the bucket is no longer airtight the salt is likely to absorb moisture over time which will cause it to partially crystallize and thus be lower in alkalinity and calcium. It's fair to want a good storage bucket, so if there are holes return it.

Update.. salt was creeping out in the closet it was placed. Going back grrrrr
