Try the Kent Phosphate remover and see if anything suffers (leathers close up, for example, for some people). If that happens, replace it with GFO. :)
 
I built a bigger flow through canister (out of a plastic ziplock container, LOL) that holds 4 cups of media so I can try a routine similar to chuckreef's suggestion.

My Kent Tech M also arrived today, but I had ordered it as an afterthought, as well as from a different company, so my magnesium test kit is not even here yet. Guess I will have to be patient for a few more days on my Bryopsis.

Today I also fragged two birdsnest corals and started over on them because they were covered in hair algae and they were in serious trouble. But it turned out well because while I was in there I removed about 30 pounds of rock and I am pretty happy with the results.
