Questions about Flashers

I would like a small group (at least 3) of flashers in my 65 gal. I really like the carpenters wrasse but wanted to know is there any other small colorful wrasses that I could get instead? My goal is to have the males flash often.

Is have two females and 1 male going to cause the male to flash often? or should I try to get 2 males and 2 females.

it should. You see, in such a harem, the male has to prevent any adventitious females from undergoing a change in sex (protogyny). So there should still be some dominance displays. I would think with two males, you would have some trouble, not to metion the fact that the constant flashing could stress the fish.

They're quite some jumpers ... mine went through eggcrate, the other found the one 1/4" gap in my canopy.

Seriously, cover every inch of the top of the tank. Expect to hear them bang off it.
