Ok please bare with me here! I have had several people tell me that it is "very odd" that my tank does not have a nitrate reading above 0!!!!
It is 12 gallon AP stock. Only been up and running since 12-20-06. 12lbs cured live rock, 12 lbs agra-alive sand. I had a small cycle with no ammonia reading, small nitrite reading , small nitrate. After changing the water the second time I have never had any of those readings above 0. I have two different test kits that say amm. trates., and trites 0. And I took a water sample to LFS today and he had the same readings "0" and again they said "o that's odd". But no one can really tell me why. Can someone please tell me why that is so "ODD"!! I thought the whole point was to keep those number down as close to 0 as possible.
