Questions about using SpaFlex

I was thinking of using some spaflex for my tank set-up. I've never used this stuff before and was wondering how this works with PVC? Do you glue it or clamp it to the PVC? I do not want to mess with plumbing the back with all PVC tubing. {Too much cutting and glueing. }

spaflex is the same as pvc, with the exception that spaflex bends.

Glues the same as normal PVC. For best results use this stuff as it sets faster:

I bought a piece of that stuff and was afraid to use it! It felt slimy or oily? Is that normal??

It contains plasticizers to make it bendable which also gives it a rubbery feel.

You can use hose barb fittings as well. I have a mix of every pipe imaginable in my system. I changed as needs dictated. The has been some debate as to whether or not to use a cleaner/primer with spaflex, I used the clear cleaner (less noticeable then purple primer) on all my piping, including spaflex.
