Questions On 9001 Skimmer and Nano Osmolator

Love Tunze products. Have controllable pumps on my display tank currently and the osmolator. I set up a frag tank and need a few things for it.

Is the magnet on the 9001 skimmer that goes on the outside of the glass able to be used in saltwater? My set up might require me to have both magnets submerged in water in order to make it fit.
Also how many inches from the bottom of the skimmer is the magnet?

Does the nano osmolator have the eye sensor that the regular one does? How does it know when to fill? Is it as accurate from a water line perspective as the regular osmolator?

Yes, the magnet starts at 2.25" from the bottom and is 2" in diameter.

No, the nano uses only a float and as a backup it has a countdown timer and shuts off at 1.8 or 3 minutes as you set (from the box it is set at 1.8. The full size osmolator allows 1-2mm of variation, the nano allows 2-4mm.
