Questions on "armor of god"

I have a frag of pink "armor of god" (around 10 polys) in my 29gal Biocube for about 6 months. They are thriving and spreading until about 2 weeks ago when the Actinic Blue PC light went out. I had only 10000K 36 Watt PC light for about a week before I upgraded to LED lights (12pcs 1.5W Cree Royal Blue and 6pcs 3W Cree Cool white). during that week, they begin to shrink and not fully opened somethings on some polys. I thought the LED light should bring them back however after one week of use, I don't see any sign of improvements. All other Zoas (around 20-30 different frags/small clonies) are doing great and better than before but not "armor of god". Does anyone has similar experiences? does armor of god perfer high light or medium? don't know what's going wrong. water conditions are great! all other corals are great!

Thanks!

I had a very large colony of AOG at one point. It did the same thing yours did. I lost more than half the colony, but they came back. I don't have an explanation. Every other zoa was doing fine.

I have mine about 18" under a 400w Radium now.

i have come to believe the aog palys do like high light and high flow. They grow well right next to my sps on my frag shelf.

a few questions for you.. keep inmind that all zoas/palys like different light, flow and even different tank parameters.

did you acclimate your tank to the new light?
did you try to move them to a different position in the tank?
did you add anything new at all?
