I'm currently in the process of cycling my new 20 gallon QT tank for my 200 gallon DT. I've chosen to go with an Aqua Clear HOB with sponge only. I believe I'll be going with a Cupramine regimen of 3-4 weeks after the fish starts eating. I'll finish off the QT with a couple rounds of PraziPro and a period of observing. Since this I'll be stocking my tank for the next year or so I'll need to keep this QT setup 24/7. I have a couple questions.
1. Does the above sound reasonable?
2. Do I need to throw away the sponge after each fish?
3. Do I need to drain the tank completely and bleach after each fish?
I was hoping to be able to just use a copper removing product, treat with PraziPro, release the fish and start again. Thanks for any help.
