Quick advice Needed!!!

Hi all,
Bad news, my clown tang must have some sort of parasite b/c he has stopped eating all foods. He doesn't eat and today was the first day I was able to take him out of the reef b/c he is too thin and weak to avoid being caught. He's in a hospital tank w/ medicine but that is not the problem. He hasn't eaten any food in over 5 days and looks like he is in his last hours. Can I 'forcefeed' him with a syringe full of cyclopeze and water??? I mean I would never do this out of free option but it looks like this is his ONLY chance, he needs some food in his system. Anyone with any imput please help me out.

i attempted to do this long ago to a niger trigger. however, whatever was wrong with him i was not able to enable the fish to recover.
