Chalice is a bazooka joe from Tom. And yes the bonsai is plating like a cap. Started happening after it made it past some bad times. Actually survived the rtn. Will try to get a better pic from the bottom up. Pretty interesting.

The garf bonsai was one of my first sps. It rtn'ed and was on the verge on being a goner. Luckily it stopped but when it grew back, it didn't grow back over the dead base material. It plated outwards.

Forgive the hair algae. Been dealing with the patches. I let gfo run too long without changing. Should of changed it earlier. Had a good ride with no algae for a couple months.

My guess is that is my big a** green birdsnest mini-colony he picked from raffle at the meetup we had at Tom's house a while back. Since he wanted to fill up space in his tank.

Ron, that is your downward growing green birds nest! Pretty fuzzy. Love its size. I think I also got a orange digi and a ponape? But all the macros didnt make it. The tank is suited for hair algae instead of macroalgae.

Well, I can get you some dragon's breath if you don't mind picking out the aiptasia. Finally got part of my sump lit in reverse light cycle to grow chaeto and dragon's breath.

How long did it take for your growth?

The sps are 2-3 years old. There was about 6-9 months of no growth. Finger like stag in the first pic was my first sps from baymac three years ago.

I'd say an inch every 4 months on the and less for the slow growers.
