Want to get peoples experiences with it I've used it before and am thinking about using it again. I have a fowler I have been told by many shop owners this is a great product to treat ich and flukes.
Quick Cure works for me but requires two doses to be used. This is for ich in my case. The real question is if you used it before did it work as if it works for you i would keep using what you know works.
Fish have the ability to fight off ich themselves sometimes. Which is why people get this misconception that their magic elixir worked.
This stuff is a combination of mal. green and formalin (formaldehyde). It is not an effective treatment for ich.
I feel that we have a need to start calling saltwater ich "crypto" instead of "ich."
The only reason I think this stuff might work is because me and a friend of mine have been collecting now for 4-5 years and we used to treat all our ish with Cupramine and Prazzi pro in a large holding system for anywhere from 4 12 weeks. Just in the last year we decided to try the Quick Cure for cost reasons. We have had the same results. I know this is no way proof that this is a new found cure for ick and flukes but it does worl. All fish we collect come out of the caribbean and always are loaded with Ich and Flukes. With in 2 weeks most fish show no signs of any disease. We put alot of these fish into our main systems and still have had no return of either parasite. Normally the way I get the parasites is from putting fish in my system that I was told were QTed. Anyway thats my 2 cents
