Quick led question (running different leds)

So was wondering if I can run different leds together in series that have similar forward voltages but the max ma are different. There's some leds with a max of 700ma that I want to mix with some that have a max of 1000ma and I want to run the string at 500ma. Can I do this? Thanks

Yep. Assuming using something like a mean well LDD they will all run at 500mA and all you need to worry about is the total fV of the string - doesn't really matter if the individual fVs are very different
