quick noobish question

It would be fine, but if it ever failed to turn off (which is going to happen) then It would spike your temp very quickly. My vote would be to get two smaller ones.
 
I think you may find it overheats your water before it even turns off, I would vote no. A 50 watt would be more than enough.
 
i've got a 50 watt (not titanium) and it is a pain to adjust, can't get it right, it's either at 70 or 85 and like i said i'm so broke I can't even afford to buy a new one....

PM me your address. If I have a smaller heater I will send it to you. Might take me a day or too to dig through boxes to find one, but you can have it.

It will be a glass heater by the way if I have it.
 
Go with a smaller one, they are not joking when they said it will fail. My previous tank was 55gal, I went to work one Sunday and when I got home my tank was running super high. All my corals "melted" and it killed off most everything I had at the time. I had to do massive water changes to try and get the temp lowered but I couldn't save much.
