Quick PC / T5 Question

Can you overdrive a PC bulb with a ballast for twice the watts?

Will an Icecap 660 ballast run T5's or PC's? Or is it strictly a VHO T8 and T12 ballast?

IceCap 660 will drive T5s, and overdrive them, with fantastic results in my opinion. I current have 6 T5s being run by 2 IceCap 660s right now and have had amazing growth and color for over a year now. I suggest you check the T5 Lighting Q&A thread in the DIY section if you have anymore questions.

Towards the bottom he talks about overdriving miscellaneous lights including powercompacts. He says he gets them blindingly bright, on $7 ballasts. I've purchased a few of the Sunpark ballasts he describes and have had great results configuring them them for ODNO.
