I realize it is very hard to really tell what causes PE on corals, but in the past I have had little to no polyp extension except late in the night when the lights were off. No big deal as coral had nice color and growing OK. Well in the last few months, the PE on all my corals is very high during the day. I like it and take it as a sign that they are happy, but at the same time, I wonder if they are now hungry more than in the past and I should feed more. Thoughts?
