Quick question

I am currently running a mag 9.5 for my return on a 90 gal and a 20 gal refugium. I am also running the black filter that came w/ the mag pump. My question is is this filter keeping the pods that are in my fuge out of my main tank or do they still manage to make it to the display. I would take it off but worry that I might end up pumping some cheato into the display. Any suggestions?

I guess since there doesnt seem to be any input on this I am going to just try it without the filter and see how things go. If anyone sees a problem with this just let me know.

I don't run a fliter pad on my return and have never had any problems.
