Quick Question

Hi and good evening all

I was wondering if anyone had any lighting suggestions for a 20 g tank I have a coral life power compact 130w on there now but I don't think it is enough light.

I would love to get a small maxima clam and stock my tank with some more corals and an anemone so any suggestions on what lighting to use would be greatly appreciated.

I was thinking a 150w mh 18k-20k light would this be enough light to keep any corals and clams?

if not your suggestions ideas would be appreciated thanks.

A good 150 W or 175 W setup would be fine. A T5 setup would work as well, although the coloration might not be to your taste.

I went with a Lumen Max 2 pendant over my 20g tank. It's rather expensive, though, and I bought it to use on a larger system.

thanks for that info.

what is the wattae of your lumen?

but I need some more ifo on the topic thanks.

I'm using a 275 W Iwasaki bulb, but it's very white. I like the coloration, but a lot of people prefer more blue. This site has a lot of data:

Also, the recent issues of Reefkeeping.com have a series of articles on lighting, including one on MH that should be very useful.
