quick start?

My lfs told me to use quick start on my newly set up tank its been three days ive only been ghost feeding and just thought id wait a few months for the tank to cycle on its own as i have no live rock only dry in a 75l aquarium, thoughts?

I wouldn't bother with it. I would stick a piece of raw shrimp in the tank and take it out once your ammonia hits 2.0ppm

I had success using bacteria in a bottle. But you need to test parameters. No reason to wait months if it already cycled, and no need to rush if it hasn't. But test daily to see how your cycle is going and you'll know when you are ready.
