When servicing your tank and you turn your pumps on you always get that nasty stuff traped in the line floating around in your tank. Next time you do this tie a filter sock to your return. This can be used many ways as well. If your like me, who goes and gets salt water from your lfs. You usally have enough for a water change on hand. But say you did your water change and forgot about sucking out the waste in your sump or fuge. Well same thing applies just tie filter sock to the end of your line and leave it in your fuge then just vacuum.this will remove the waste and also allow you to keep things running as well as not having to change your water. If anyone wants to add they can.
