Better gph, jsut reread chill105 upgrades, seem like he used a mini-jet 606 which goes up to 156 gph aposed to the 106 stock one.

Also most are lower wattage therefore equaling less heat introduced to the tank..
The stock pumps work great for mixing up saltwater tho 8)

I'm running the Micro-Jet MC450 in mine. 117 gph and rundry protection. I wanted the Mini-Jet, but the LFS here didn't stock them. I'm thinking of the small Eheims.

BTW- the stock pump looks like a Via Aqua knockoff.
