Quiet Skimmer

I am looking for a quiet skimmer. Mine is friggin loud. It quiets down when I cover the air intake hose but then it become inefficient.

Looking to keep costs down, but isnt everyone.

I made a baffle for mine it works well . Run your ait hose into a piece of pcv pipe with a small opening on both ends .Run your air suction hose into the top small hole and leave the small hole on the bottom to suck air all the noise will be trapped in the baffle .
