Anyone ever use quinine sulfate? I came down with ich a little back, well my fish did, and as the QT was setting up it looked like our Angel was getting a secondary infection.
We planned on doing a hypo treatment since angels are sensitive to copper but with, what we thought was something else now, we didin't know what to do.
We wrote to WetWebMedia and got a response from Bob Fenner. I thought he would tell us to do a copper treatment and take the chances with the angel but he reccomended this product, quinine sulfate. I did a little research on it, couldn't find much, and it is for more sensitive species like sharks and rays and what not. It doesn't kill or harm biological filtration, but it kills ich, velvet, protozoans, MHLLE.
How come we have never heard of this before? Thanks for reading.
