Can you tell me why my bubble tip is in the back of the tank? Does he look ok? I will post a picture when I first got him and today..

How big it the Tomato clown compared to the anemone? If anem is small and clown is large then yes. If you think that's what it is, try removing the clown for a day or so and see if the anem comes back out.

Need help please.. Not sure what is wrong with my RBTA he is eating well has great color as you can see but will not open up like he once did... What am I missing? Water seems good my tank is flourshing it is just RBTA... Any advise I would greatly appreciate it... Also IDK if im feeding too much? I feed every two to three days.. Shrimp and frozen Mysis shrimp...

Looks like it is just "pooping" or something. The coloring looks good, the tentacles are full, and it is eating. They go through cycles of inflate and deflate during the day. How often are you feeding? How long after the lights come on is this picture?

Lights had been on for hours by the time this picture was taken.. He never opens like he once did.. I feed every other day.. I think im going to change that to weekly and see what happens..

IME my nems get up from where they are and hide when they are about to split. Hopefully it's just this rather than something bad! Or, like the other posters have said, perhaps that spot is fulfilling more of its needs than where it was.

Maybe he's too full? I think many anemones die because we feed too much. I fed mine literally a month ago. I just noticed today that it was looking hungry, so I will feed tomorrow.

I think, unless you see it start to deteriorate or you see something starting to munch on it, just wait it out a bit. Mine get grumpy every now and again and hide for a few days before opening back up.

What is the flow like in that area? Try not feeding it for a few days and see what happens. Like mentioned above, it might be ready to split. It looks plenty healthy though. Do you have any before pictures?

Flow is a little high but thats where it chose to call home.. Here is a picture when I first got him...

IMO its your clown. I recently had to remove a clown from my tank because he was causing my bta's to close up. Is your clown agressive with your rbta?

I think so.. This has always been my theory but im not sure.. Bad part is I cant catch him tried many times!!!

I was able to scoop mine out when she was sleeping/lights out. I know not all clownfish are that easy to catch, so my next suggestion is to read this thread/sticky. http://www.reefcentral.com/forums/showthread.php?t=372952

Looks like it went higher. How long have you had it? I think it is just adjusting to the new location (and possibly higher flow). It is coming out, it is feeding, it is plump and nicely colored. I would just give it time. How old are your lights?

Lights are two months old.. He is higher but that may be because I did move the rock he was originally in and may have distrubed him.. But I let him be since.. The funny things is if he wanted more light the front of the tank has plenty.. Do you think it could be my clown?

I don't see the clown in the anemone in the pictures, so it doesn't seem to constantly rub it. Even then, it won't hurt the anemone. That could make it not fully inflate while the clown is in it though. I would think it is just getting used to the new area (much like when it is new to a tank). I still think time is all that is needed. But it wouldn't hurt to try feeding once a week for now anyway. Definitely keep us posted with pictures and behavior.
