My rabbit fish seems to have a bacterial infection. It has been in my tank for 6-8 months and has always had a metallic sheen to it's eyes. Recently it started getting inflamed and I noticed it looks quite large today.
Should I try to remove it, and treat it in a hospital tank? I'm not sure I can get it out of my display tank. Will it infect the rest of my fish if I just leave it alone?
I have some API furan2 anti-bacterial treatment that will treat pop-eye, but does someone have a much better alternative?
