Rabbitfish, macroalgae and zoas

I just got a onespot rabbitfish. He's in quarantine right now, and doing well so far.

My question is if he'll eat all kinds of macroalgae or not. I grow some codium in my fuge, and I'm wondering if you think he'll eat it. I'll try it anyway, just to see.

Also, I know some of them eat zoanthids (on a fish by fish basis). I'm interested in knowing if yours did or didn't.

I had the choice between a onespot, a bicolored (Hawaiian) and a coral rabbitfish. I hope I made the right choice :) The Hawaiian gets to 11", and that seemed a little too much for the 125g tank.

I have a Onespot and he sampled zoanthids in the remote past but seemed to give up on them rather quickly. He is not a grazer, but rather waits avidly for the algae sheet to go in the tank. He is generally shy if there is too much activity around the tank, but now comes to the algae sheet before I can even get the suction-cup on the tank wall- yep, watch out for the dorsal spines!

So far this guy is really shy. He's got his stress blotches whenever you go near the tank. It seems to be getting better, but we've had him less than 24 hours so far.

I tried mysis, but he spat them out. He was a little more enthusiastic about a green algae sheet. It's still early days, so I'm not too worried yet.

I have a gold spotted rabbitfish who is a complete pig, he will eat anything that i put in tank, nori, mysis, sponge, krill, anything! he loves algae sheets too. But unfortunately after having him for about 3 months i found out he developed a taste for zoo's. Needless to say, my tank is now zoo-less and will stay that way, he has a very expensive tasty meal for a few days! but his personality is so great I wouldn't trade him for anything. I have had him about 1.5 years now and he really is just a big baby.

Here he is being his moody self! Way pretty when not grumpy, has a baby blue shimmer background with gold spots, a real beauty
