Rabbitfish owners...

Do they eat macro algae or just kind of graze a little? Basically Im wondering if a rabbitfish would destroy my macro or just keep it pruned back a little. I know if he was not fed well, he would obviuosly go nuts on the macro but if fed well with Nori, what do you guys think? I have no experience with Rabbitfish but found one that needs a good home.

i think he takes my zoas... as i am always missing some... but i have not seen him do it to confirm it...

Imo he would probably graze on it, keeping it trimmed. My foxface will get his fill quickly. Then come back every once in a while for a nip.

Right and that is what I thought and hoped for. I would love for a fish to some of my weekly maintenance for me

A LFS has confirmed the same experience I was hoping that experience varied from fish to fish, but it seems a pretty common theme.

Yeah I think Im just going to not "chance" it though. I am just getting my macro to start growing again after a move and its not ready to have a fish terrorizing it yet!
