I just picked up a pair of XR30 G4 pros and am trying to get an idea of what intensity people are using once they have everything acclimated using this light schedule on either G3 or G4's, as well as how high off the tank their fixtures are and how deep the SPS are.

Mine are 9" on RMS mounts over the frag tank and the sticks are 5-7" from the surface. Currently acclimating at 30% intensity up to 45% over the next two weeks. Feel free to post photos too, I'm curious as to what they look like under this schedule :)

I think that's a good start. This schedule is a bit too blue for my taste but has been proven. I don't see you going much past 50-55% in a shallow frag tank. Good luck.

Fwiw I'm running G2 pro at 55 with t5 for supplement. Apples and oranges I know:p

Hi
Whats the sps AB+ schedule and how do I find it ,I have just picked a x15 gen4 pro and this set up is not listed or is it the radiance preset or do you just create it.

Thanks! That's funny for me it's a little too white and I'm still getting used to it. I was a fan of my old windex look but the SPS weren't haha

It's in the Coral Lab presets :)

Currently, have two G3's with Wide TIR lens at 50%, 12" off the surface and coral 5-7" from the surface. I had a real hard time going past 35-40% when using the RMS mount at 8-9". Also at the time there wasn't any Coral Lab presets available.

I figure with G4 lens you probably can go 45-50% at 8" off the surface. Good luck!

Too white?!?!? That is windex man! Anyway I like whiter because it showcases colors better. AB+ showcases that characteristic "LED glow".
