Radion Arms

I am setting up my tank and purchased 2 Radion lights with the arms that clamp on the back. I know I saw this mentions someplace here but can't seem to find it. The one light looks great but the other doesn't set level. I've tightened it as much as I can by hand and really don't want to put pliers to the knob. IT is a glass tank with a plastic "rim" thing. I assume I can put a small shim on the front edge to raise it a little. But before I do any suggestions?

I guess while I'm asking questions. The tank is 4 feet long x 24" deep and 30" high. I mounted the bracket in 12" from each end (centering each light in the 24" area of half the tank). I used the middle length horizontal arm which gets the center of the light about in the center of the tank. Does this sound like good placement?

I found the thread and someone suggested a shim and location. That worked pretty well. Now they are not quite level but sag the same amount so they look fine.
