Radion battery backup

I finally got a cable to hookup my battery backup to my radions. I tested a power failure and only red LEDs come on. Is that right?

When I have a power failure, the dial on my Vortech controller turns green.

You may want to email Ecotech Marine tec support and ask them.

Yes my vortech dial turns green but this is my radion light. It makes my tank red

Since I don't have radions, I can't answer this one and I would still call Ecotech tech support on Monday.

That is correct, the Radion will only display the Radion channel into the aquarium in order to conserve battery life.

Ok I just thought red was a strange channel to display. I would have thought a dim white channel. It's going to look like the red light district during my next power outage haha
