Radion mounting height?

Setting up a new small/shallow tank in my home office and will use a Radion. I am trying to figure out the hanging height for the Radion. Since I will be using a wall mount and rather not drill numerous holes in the wall experimenting. What height above the bottom would give the right coverage. The tank is 30" long and 14" deep, SPS dominate from end to end.

Thanks,
Mark

p.s. Can use wide angle lenses so I can hang the light as low as possible, hopefully to keep the LEDs out of the corner of my eyesight while sitting at my desk.

Mark,

We recommend mounting the Radion a minimum of 8 inches above the surface of the water. That said, I would recommend having the light anywhere from 8-12 inches above the aquarium's surface.

Interesting enough, catching the LEDs is not as annoying as I thought. I have 3 of them and one of my concerns was that they would be too annoying when sitting on the couch, but surprisingly they are not. FWIW, I plan on having mine a little higher up at around 14" because my tank is shallow and I figure the higher up, the more even the spread.
