radion not connecting

I'm getting this error when i'm installing the connection manager.

The installation of EcoSmart Live Connection Manager is finished, but some errors occurred during the install. Please see the installation log for details.

There is no install log. My radion is not showing up on my computer.
I've uninstalled and installed the connection manager 5 ties now and it says the same error everytime.
I've unplugged the radion for 30 seconds and plugged it back up and nothing.
I can't do usb connected radion because it's not showing up.

This is on my mac for the first time. I initailly set it up on my friends mac at his house. Then changed somme stuff with my brothers mac. I havn't tried to connect for about 3 weeks.

If you have an antivirus, you might want to disable it before you uninstall and then reinstall the software.

That is a guess. I'm a PC person.

I don't like how theres no install log to check when it tells me check the install log.

To resolve the issue, please change your download preferences to "allow downloads from all developers." After doing this, re-install the Connection Manager and you will no longer have any issues.

Security and privacy
Click on the lock- enter pw
Click on allow apps dl from: anywhere

If I changed the correct setting it still errors installing and still doesn't see my radion.

I would recommend calling our service department if you continue to have issues.

Called in and they got me fixed up. It ended up being a faulty usb cable. Thanks ecotech.

I've posted on other threads where folks are having the same problem. I tried reinstalling and got the same message about the errors. Since I am on my fourth radion, I have plenty of USB cables and switching between them hasns't made a difference. Any insight would be appreciated.

My computer still errors when installing connection manager but the new wire worked for me. The old wire still connects to charge my phone but doesn't work when trying to connect to my radion. I would try a brand new wire from somewhere else. It seems to me the wires that came with the radions are crapping out.

I tried with another cord and I still have the same issue. The USB connected module is not able to find the other module wirelessly. If I connect the other module to the MBA it finds it then but doesn't see the other one wirelessly.
