Radion pro owners - SPS Growth

I have a radion pro over my 38 Nuvo. I'm running full zeo. My colors are great but I'm not sure about growth. They're growing, I just don't know if growth would be faster with MH. I'm getting about 1/2" or so a month on monti caps and about 1/4" on acros and other SPS. I'm wondering what other radion pro owners get. If you're getting growth under your pro, can you share your settings?

Overall, what would the average growth rate for an SPS be? I know some grow very fast and others very slow, so I'm just wanting rough numbers. I'm trying really hard to talk myself out of going with MH. :)

Figures do not sound bad, different corals have different growth rates so mine are different than yours. I will say this, my corals are growing just as fast as they were under radiums, all SPS.

Thanks. So you had them under radium MH and switched to radions?

That is good growth. If you have great color I wouldn't change a thing. Don't rush things and start going mad scientist on your reef. You can maybe try to feed the tank more often.

Thanks, that's what I'm looking for. I think starting from frags makes it hard to have patience. :) I'm hoping that once things grow out some, growth will be more noticeable.

You also need to remember that if the acro's are frags there going to grow slower when they are small and pick up speed once established and have some size to them.

Yeah, I think this might be why growth seems slow to me. It makes sense that once they get bigger they grow even more. Instead of having one branch growing 1/4" you have 20.

Thanks for the feedback everyone. I'm just going to keep doing what I'm doing and see how thing progress.
