I'm building tank with euro brace and was going to build a canopy that frame is 2 PVCs 5/8" x 1 1/2" connected together. It makes the frame 1 1/4" x 1 1/2". Then I connect trims 1/2" x 2 1/2" to the frame. While the canopy frame lays down on the tank euro brace, the trims are outside of the tank and their bottom is below the euro brace. Here is a similar canopy built for the another tank.

With that design the connection point is at least 1 3/4" W x 1 1/2" H
I was going to use EcoTech RMS XR30 Tank Mount Kit to connect Radion XR30W.
Will the design work?
I don't know exact dimensions of the clamp but based on the BRS video it can be open up to 2.1".
- What is the clamp high? Does it require frame higher then 1.5"?
