Radion xr30w g3 pro and wide angle lenses

Setting up a new elos 160xl 200g with xr30w gen3 but trying to figure out if I should upgrade to pro or save the $. Currently I'm planning to buy 2 and mount them on the tank with two separate mounts. The glass is 21" depth ...or about 19" of saltwater. The back to front is 31". The mounts say 28" so I know the lights will not be in absolute center between front to back. Also two mounted. The tank is 60" long. Is it worth getting pros and will I need to use wide angle lenses?

I just got the tank and waiting on the sump and parts to be delivered. I'm deciding on lights and want to order those soon. I have a 120 fowlr with anemones, live rock, tangs, clowns and some soft corals. Want to get hard corals after I move to new tank. My existing system (120g 6' x 2' and 18" front to back)is doing well with 2 36" coralife aqualights with extra bulbs but will be getting rid of those and the old tank.
Any suggestions?

Has anyone tried to paint the black radion x30rw mount? I'm thinking maybe silver but wondering if anyone tried it.

I'm using the wide angle lense on one side of the each of my xr30w pros (the one facing the front) on the light facing the back side I left the normal lenses in. Since the wide angle reduces the par but gives better spread I put softies and LPS lower and nearer the front of the tank. I'm growing sps up higher and towards the back. My tank is a marineland 300 gallon dd (72 long 36 wide and 24 deep). I had several people suggest that I get 6 for proper coverage but my wallet disagreed. Doing it this way I'm getting great coverage with just 3 of them and I haven't been able to get over 65 percent intensity without cooking my corals. I may add a 4th down the road but not sure it's really necessary. I'd consider using the rail kit rather than the individual mounts. It will give you the option to have them perfectly centered front to back.

I decided on xr30w pros with two on one rail along center. I was trying to avoid the big handle like a lunchbox. I think the issue for me is the black mount. It would be way better if silver or white. Thanks for your input. I appreciate your help. I'm going to look into painting this mount to silver. I have silver cabinet doors so I think it would look really good silver and would blend into background easier.

I'm trying 2 for 200g. I think 3 or 4 tops. The may be overkill anyway but I'm too new to know what's optimal. The rail for the length seem to be the best option for an extra wide tank. I'm concerned about the design planning and burning corals but thats for another day and a different post.

The reason I'm thinking about adding another one really has to do with the shadowing. I feel like I'm getting plenty of par into the tank with 3 but if I had the 4th I wouldn't have the dark spots on my branching sps as bad. I'm new to the whole led thing but from what I've read it seems like running more lights at a little lower intensity might be a better deal long term. I will tell you that you should find someone that's had long term success with these at your last to help you out. My guys have really helped me dial mine in.
