Radions Losing Programming

Has anyone here experienced Radions randomly losing their programming? I have 8 radions running in a group (6 G1, 2 G2) using the pre-set Shallow reef mode at 85% intensity 6Ft Depth. Randomly, the radions revert to Shallow reef, 100%, 0Ft depth. This is an issue because if I don't catch it in time some Acro's begin to fade a bit. When I go in to ESL to re-program them, it takes 3-4 "Program Lights" cycles to actually have the lights take the new programming. (The ESL graph actually keeps reverting to Shallow Reef 100% 0Ft after I apply the programming and it requests the current config of the lights) I have reverted to factory defaults and also deleted and recreated the group, but this reoccurs over time. Not a daily issue but happens every few weeks. I am wondering if there is a known cause for this?

Dan,

It sounds as though the buttons need to be disabled on your Radions. Please follow the steps below to resolve the issue:


1. Power down all Radions for 30 seconds
2. Power on All Radions
3. Connect via USB to a single Radion - If NOT using a ReefLink
4. Open the Connection Manager - If NOT using a ReefLink
5. Log in to EcoSmart Live using either Google Chrome or Safari
6. Select the "Wrench" icon below "Light 1"
7. Click the check box to disable the Radion buttons
8. Repeat step 6 for each Radion
9. Select the "Program" button to save changes
