Raffle Items

This will be my first time coming to your frag swap. I was wondering if you guys have some nice raffle items lined up.
 
Well, from what I have seen thus far, we have some gift certificates for frags, A BRS 75gpd RO/DI unit, A reefkeeper lite system, books, and there is more but Rhett will have to speak to it.
 
I know we also have a new Oceanic 29gal nano tank, gift cards, frag packs from Tritons Gardens (Thanks Jack and Kathy) and other companys donating equipment. I will be donating a nice frag/coral pack and a $50 gift card also.
 
there will be some lights also and a few other things from the Critter you will be happy with the selection. There are some real big selections of things this year. The tank the critter is donating is a whole setup nano tank.:)
 
Just curious, how's the raffle conducted (one ticket in a big lot for everything and keep picking from the lot for each item, multiple raffles with a ticket for each large item, etc., and how much are they typically), or are there details on the mtrc site? Thanks.
 
Last year, they had boxes for each items and you put your tickets in the box for the item you would like to win. Worked out perfect since it keeps you from winning something you don't want/can't take care of.

That is the way it was done at the West TN frag swap. You would only need lots of tickets if you wanted about everything.

It's really not that lame if you think about it. I would hate to win a SPS coral or some other coral I couldn't take care of. I would then be stuck trying to sale/trade a item I just won or have to give it away.

Last year, I just bought $20 worth and dumped them in the box for the 24g nano cube. Because that's all I really wanted....but didn't win.

For those that are a little older and watched Football there is no stikem allowed on tickets. :) The one thing that will be bad for me is I will not be there this year for the drawings I have a stupid class that I have to take that day so I will be there for lunch and cleanup. :(
 
The items Im donating. Large Frag of ORA Bird of Paradise, Blue Clove Polyp Frag, 6 heads of frogspawn and a Aussie Ultra grade Acan frag (9-10)heads. The Acan has green and yellow stripes on the outter rim and a bright red center. Im also throwing in a $50 gift card. These are two seperate prizes. The frag pack then the gift card. Hope this sounds like a nice prize.

Thanks Norman. Wish the picture came out better. There is going to be some nice stuff there. Oh yeah I talked to Gary (gflat) he is also donating two pieces of coral also.
