Followed by some new ones I picked up this past weekend...

I love this one... It has the same orange glow as my citrus (above) but has a sweet purple hue to it as well... The bigger polyps at the LFS were just nutz to look at but the smaller one was much cheaper lol

This one is a hacked polyp that was discounted...

Ktar - ? , That is a piece that i sold to All Delight and i still have it in my tank waiting for him to pick it up. Did i sell you a frag from the colony in the past?

Man all I got to say is WOW! there are some GORGEOUS pieces popping up on this thread!! The Rainbows by far have some of the most spectacular color morphs of any corals in the world! back in 1992 I never saw this coming LOL! I would get excited over Blue Shrooms back in those days but damn we have come a long long way

Thanks... My crappy P&S camera doesn't even come close to getting the true colors... I need to start fragging and selling to fund a nice camera

out of curiosity, how many of these hold their rainbow colors? i've noticed alot of them morph and lose their rainbows

If they haven't been in captivity for at least 6 months alot of times they will morph. Usually sill a rainbow, just different. But the ones that have been in for a while usually stay what they are.

I've only had one of my 18 switch colors from a dark purple/green inside to a weird pastel'ish purple green...
