Hey Everyone! Alveopora are an amazing coral that come in a
wide variety of colors. It may be hard to tell the difference
between an alveopora and a goniopora, but we have a little trick
for you! Goniopora have 24 tentacles around each polyp, while an
Alveopora has 12 tentacles around each polyp! It's as easy as that!
The tentacles are also typically more defined or puffy on an alveopora,
while the tentacles of goniopora are very fine/thin. Here's a few pics
of both for you to take a look at, we bet you'll be able to tell the
difference pretty easily now!
